StudentConnect utilizes wireless communication between GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology to deliver real time data to our proprietary software SIMS – Student Identification & Management System. It combines business logic and other real time information and actionable data received from the hardware to use for decision-making and reporting.
Our proprietary integrated wireless solutions are able to use Auto ID technology to identify students entering and exiting school buses. It provides real time notifications to parents and school administrators about individual student’s bus rider status and safety. It significantly improve parents’ involvement and participation in their child’s education by providing real time notices to parents about the student’s school and class attendance status, tardiness or behavior patterns that require proactive parental actions.
